California parent faces lifetime in prison after sexual behavior on child

Louise Turpin and David Turpin were sentenced with 94 years to a lifetime in jail and held on bail of $12 million after keeping their children captive in their own home. Prosecutors said the victims were held captive years ago and were tortured. The children ranged from ages 2-29 years old. The 17 year old girl escaped Sunday and called 911, leading authorities to the residence.
I believe this story is important to read because it is interesting, and it shows especially to children why they need to be careful with strangers because they never know who and what a stranger is.
